The Pineland Trail at Kristin Jacobs Natural Area at Hillsboro Pineland is 1,000 feet long and handicapped accessible. At the name implies, it loops through pine flatwoods, but in more open areas, the trail is bordered by a thick understory of saw palmetto, cabbage palms, beautyberry, oaks, tarflower, staggerbush, marlberry along with various ferns, greenbriar, muscadine and love vine.
