The Golden Orb Trail is 1.1 miles long, mostly boardwalk cutting through a forest of mangroves, as shown in this photo. It's also reputed to be one of the great birding hotspots in the Florida Keys, particularly during the fall migration season, when as many as 30 different species of wood warblers have been spotted, according to the Great Florida Birding Trail.
