The trail on the south side takes us down to the base of the bluff and the banks of the Intracoastal Waterway. This area proved to be the best area for birding within Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Natural Area. Most of the birds shown on the bottom of the main page were photographed on the south section of the natural area, the majority of them along this trail. We should mention that as of September 2023, Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area is included as part of the Great Florida Birding Trail. Here's the page. NEXT STOP: Seeing the Light
